Epoxy floor coatings are one of the best ways to improve your garage, basement, or any other area in which you want a non-slip surface. Steps to Install Epoxy Floor Coatings: Mix the epoxy ingredients. This can be done with a drill, paddle mixer or paint stirrer. It is important to mix the epoxy thoroughly so that it has an even consistency throughout. Pour the mixed solution on your garage floor and spread evenly across surface area using squeegee or trowel. Let dry for at least six hours before continuing to next step. Using sandpaper, lightly sand over dried coatings until all gloss is removed from concrete; this will ensure maximum adhesion between old and new surfaces
Apply second layer of epoxy coating in same manner as first one was applied: mixing ingredients and pouring onto floor.
