Membership is not required to take Private Lessons or to participate in our Weekend Learn to Scull Classes
How does it all work?If your new to sculling and want to take our Weekend or Full Week Learn to Scull Classes - you do not need to be a member of the Longmont Sculling Club. We want you to be able to try a new sport without the commitment of membership.
Once you decide that you love sculling, we will invite you to become a member of the Longmont Sculling Club.
We want you to learn to scull well so you can maximize your enjoyment on the water. Instruction and training continues throughout the summer in the Novice Summer Sculling Program for people in their first year of learning.
If you already know how to scull - you're ready to become a member now by filling out an Application to the Club. Applications for membership will be reviewed in a timely manner, and you will be notified of your acceptance to the Club and receive an orientation to the facilities.
Membership dues is only $325 per year.
Once you have become certified in a particular level of equipment, as a Longmont Sculling Club Member you are allowed to use that equipment independently. Equipment can be reserved up to one week in advance through our reservation system. Every effort will be made to provide fair access to the equipment, so it is not monopolized by one individual or group. There is an additional fee of $50 for this upgraded membership.
All members must uphold, support and abide by the Rules and Regulations of the club.
Membership dues is not refundable unless there are extenuating circumstances. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing for consideration.
